Twelve Roses

The first of these roses is for you to hold

Like a baby in your arms soft and pretty

The second is for laughter

For the happiness you feel some of the time

The third is for the tears you shed

The tears of love that never seem to end

The forth rose is for the sadness you sometimes feel

Sometimes we just get sad over small every day things

The fifth rose is to fill the loneliness

Sometimes when we are apart we both can get lonely

The sixth rose is for you my love

It says we have reached the half way mark in out lives

Let the other half be just as sweet

As for the seventh rose it is the tie that binds

It binds out love together forever to each others arms

The eighth rose is precious to me

It is for two hearts beating for loves pleasure

The ninth rose is for life

We give to our children the life and love of family

The tenth is for me

I will always love you even when I am old and tired

I will forever be next to you

The eleventh rose is for the defection

We have for all around us never let it end for if it ends

So then do we and our love

So now you ask me where the twelfth rose is.

Please my sweet love turn and look at your reflection

There in the mirror you can see the last precious rose
