I needed inspiration so I looked at your picture

For the first time I think I really saw you

In the picture your skin is smooth as silk

Yet in person your skin is damp and moist

The long day of sweating leaves a salty taste

In your pretty picture your hair is fixed nice

Here beside me your hair is tattered and tangled

When I look at you I see my precious love

When I look at your picture I saw what I wanted

Now having you all these years I love you more

Your picture is framed in gold and glass

You are only framed only with my tired eyes

The glass keeps your beauty clean and bright

My only wish is to keep you close to me at night

There is a shimmer in your picture as the candle flickers

The flame of desire in your eyes is what I love to see

I see the glass might have a crack and needs to be fixed

But I am happy to see a smile on your sweet lips

The picture may fade its color in time

The love I hold in my heart never will fade

We will take more pictures to tell of our stories

We will show our love for all to see in pictures

We will keep this love forever in the grasp on hands

We will forever keep our love in our hearts
