Drift off

If a picture paints a thousand words

I feel I have painted a masterpiece

I show it in my words so that all can see

I see you as a vision here in my eyes

It is a loving look to see as time go’s by

The white puff of clouds floating in the sky

The soft green grass growing on the ground

You are there in between them love in your eyes

A loving smile on your face brightens up the night

With your body I am filled completely

Come and hold me while I dream of you

In my dreams I can have you for the rest of my life

Here in your arms I can just be me

There are no secrets there are no lies

I lay here thinking about the words we have said

These words linger here unheard by most

As we say I love you now

Let the world pass us by as we talk more

We can talk with unspoken words here

We know what we say

We say once again I love you

Then we drift off to sleep again
